Holloman’s baby

With the birth of his daughter Vie in 2012, designer Brent Holloman decided to create a new silhouette of his baby girl every week, for the first year of her life. The series features a range of different styles and is a beautiful way to register the stages of his daughter’s growth.

Whoa.

Hey #GeeBee, stick your tongue out!

Whoa.

When I last saw #GeeBee she was doing this…

At 16wks I had to leave #GeeBee and most excellent wife J. for 4 long, disorientating nights. This was taken on our farewell drive to the airport.

Independence approaches.

Dear Scarlet,
Believe it or not, this used to happen a lot when you were younger.  It happens now, but I’m trying to teach you the importance of independence.  Trust me, it’s harder for me, than it is for you.  You still come in and lay with me in the mornings.  In fact, I’m usually awoken by my arm falling asleep from you laying on it.  If you are 18-years old, reading this post, you’ll understand why I started teaching you about being able to be an independent little girl.  You’ve likely grown into an independent little woman.
